The Texas Programs Intern position provides support to Austin based program staff (Legal, Science, Policy etc.). Other responsibilities include administrative tasks, project support, drafting correspondence, organizing and filing, creating reference materials, conducting research and other tasks as assigned. S/he may coordinate logistical support for program events and/or meetings. The Texas Programs Intern position reports directly to the State Director’s Executive Coordinator.

Employment term is June 2017 - August 2017.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to organize time and manage diverse activities and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability using advanced computer functions including generating detailed reports and analysis.
Proficient in manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting data.
Student applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in a course of study relevant to legislation/policy, conservation/science or a related field.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and using the Internet.
